BEC Industrial (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, was formed to succeed the joint venture known as IIG Shanghai and originally the Shanghai Electric Power and Machine Works (SEPMW).  This factory located in Shanghai was the first Chinese manufacturer of calcium silicate thermal insulation that meets ASTM C533 type I and produced to the dimensional tolerances of ASTM C585.

Our high quality products have been exported to North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. 

The old IIG Shanghai factory was permanently closed in February of 2021.  In December 2021, BEC Industrial opened the newest and most technologically advanced calcium silicate factory in the world.  The new factory located in Jiangsu Province is capable of producing both two and three foot long sections of pipe cover and block to cater to all global markets.  We have approximately 60 full-time employees, several of whom have more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing calcium silicate thermal insulation.

The new factory is located in Xinzhu Town of Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province, China.
