Custom Designed Filter Pressing Equipment
DESCRIPTION
BEC’s new Jiangsu factory utilizes 4 sets of 150 ton capacity filter pressing equipment. They are specifically designed to hydraulically press the pipe cover and block thermal insulation which is built to meet or exceed global standards for calcium silicate.
The specially engineered filter pressing molds are machined with thousands of tiny holes that allow all of the air and most of the water to be expunged under the load of the press. This eliminates all the voids, pinholes and fissures that are common with non filter pressed calcium silicate products and produces the world’s strongest type I calcium silicate.
ADVANTAGES
The loading and batching of the raw materials are computer controlled in order to produce the calcium silicate densities from 170kg/m3(±10%) to 300kg/m3(±10%).

DESCRIPTION
In order to meet the requirements of calcium silicate standard all over the world, our new factory engineered and procured advanced molds specially designed to produce the calcium silicate product which meets all the standard including the ASTM C585 in both 915 mm and 600 mm long sections. We can also fabricate mitered fittings including elbows, tees, caps, reducers, valve covers which are built to meet the customers requirements.

X3® Asbestos-Free, Low Silicon
DESCRIPTION
X3® is a hydrated, naturally-occurring volcanic rock. Its unique structure consists of numerous concentric layers, similar to the layers in an onion. Its natural color ranges from light pearl gray to dark gray. The expansion is due to the presence of water (nearly 5%) trapped in the crude ore.
When processed at proper temperature, the crude ore “pops” in a manner similar to popcorn. During the material processing, the combined water vaporizes, creating countless tiny bubbles that account for the amazing light weight and other exceptional properties of X3®.
X3R filter aids are available in a full range of grades with specific perm abilities which produce varying degrees of clarification. The products are functionally similar to DE filter aids; however, they typically have bulk densities about half that of DE. X3® is used to filter juices, waste water, beverages, and industrial chemicals. They are produced from inert silicate minerals and meet the purity requirements of many applications, except those requiring the highest degree of clarification (such as polishing).
• The white color provides positive identification that it is asbestos-free and low silica.
Controlled by Durometer Density 170kg/m3 to 300kg/m3(±10%)
DESCRIPTION
In order to ensure every or average pieces density of calcium silicate can meets the ASTM C533, the Durometer is specially designed to measure the indentation hardness of medium hard rubber, elastomers, and thermoplastics and other similar Type C materials which is built to meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 and ISO 868 specifications, and can be used either with a test stand or as a hand-held unit.

CS-0.1 Calcium Silicate is a molded, high temperature, abuse-resistant pipe and block insulation with exceptional structural strength, composed of hydrous calcium silicate for use on systems operating up to 1200°F (649°C). The white color provides positive identification that it is asbestos-free. CS-0.1 meets or exceeds the physical property requirements of ASTM C 533, Type I and GB/T10699-1998.
